OUR VISION OF THE FUTURE

Redress Raleigh’s goal is to reorient mainstream fashion to become environmentally and socially aware, becoming a catalyst for major change in the fashion and textiles industry. We question the status quo of current mainstream retail consumption both from a consumer and industry standpoint. Redress Raleigh supports and encourages triple-bottom-line designers and companies who believe in the concept of people, planet, profit.  Therefore, Redress Raleigh places importance on knowing where the textiles in our closets and homes come from, who made them, and how they were created. Our vision is that in the next twenty years we will no longer need to differentiate between that which is sustainable and conscious eco-fashion and textile design and that which is not.
