A mother+daughter environmentally aware accessory design studio based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Zulay and Stephanie started zassdesign in 2009 with a focus on upcycling found/recycled materials into unique contemporary jewelry pieces. The marriage of metals, plastics, paper, cork, textiles and such, are combined in their work to create sustainable pieces, giving the wearer a sense of personal environmental awareness. Each piece is individual with a unique past, present and a future story of its own.
