Light+Building Tradeshow

I just ran across pictures from the 2009 Light+Building tradeshow on LimitedHype. Above is my favorite (coincidentally the favorite of the author of the original post as well! great minds.) Go check out the rest of them, LED lights (as were apparently a trend at last year's show) typically can operate with 30-60 watts of electrical power, and are considered efficient because of their high light output for the relatively low power needed to run them.

Plus, LEDs are beautiful and versatile. Double win!

Keep cruelty-free shoes

via limitedhype:

Los Angeles brand Keep make cruelty-free shoes using mostly sustainable materials.  Their designs are definitely based on classic silhouettes, but they also feature unique fabric choices that give us that spark we crave.  Japanese-milled herringbone, sustainable bamboo-cotton corduroy, and classic canvas meet extra wide gingham, chambray, and terry-cloth linings.  Three of our favorite designs are the Ramos, Nuss, and Homer.  All Keep designs are unisex, even though are actually marked in women’s US sizing, so be aware of that when ordering (you wanna go up 1 and 1/2 sizes fellas).  Available direct here and here.
